We did a construction challenge in the classroom today. Every child made a cube, a triangle-based pyramid and a square based pyramid, each using cocktail sticks and blue tac. They had to try and make them as strong as they could, then choose which one they thought was strongest to withstand the weight of a box of crayons. Many constructions managed to succeed in the challenge and hold up the crayon box....even if it was for only a few minutes! Comments are closed.
