We went outside to do some digging in our school garden and discover what had grown under the soil. We were delighted to find lots of radishes that had grown from seeds and everyone got to take 2 or 3 radishes home to add to their family meals. Our green school members also dug up some potatoes that were ready to eat too. We planted tomato seeds earlier in the year in the classroom and then transported them out to a bigger planter in the courtyard. With all the lovely sunshine we had, the tomato plants really blossomed and grew. By the time our school holidays finished the tomatoes weren't fully grown so they had to stay where they were. We all agreed getting our hands dirty in the school garden was great fun!
